Election of Governor's Bill.
Two hours were spent last night in discussing Mr Joyce's Election of Governor's Bill. Mr T. MacKenzie characterised the subject as fit for a Young Men's Debating Sooiety. On a division the second reading was negatived by 32 votes to 22. Amongst tbe minority were the Premier, Minister of Lands, Minister of Railways, and Sir Robert Stout.
