Mercantile Bank.
[United Press Assooiation.] Melbourne, June 19. The report of the liquidator of the Mercantile Bank of Australia shows that altogether £536,000 was received, out of which £458,000 was paid in three dividends aggregating 5s lOd in the pound. The amount paid ia calls amounted to -£235,000, and the losses during the year, owing to depreciation of property and other causes, is estimated at _ci.339.000.
