The lato Thomas Winans, the BaUi more millionaire, once paid £200 to hear Patti sing. It was in St. Petersburg, and the boxes were disposed of by auction. Mr Winans paid £200 for the lir*t choice. A Russian fi iend told bim that he could have gone to Paris and bad*, nnd heard Patti sing there a dozen limes for the great sum lit, had paid to attend only one pt-rfoiniancc. Mr Winans replied that lie wanted to hear her then, and would gludly pay the price named rather than wait until Patti sang in Paris,
