Lokdon, June 11.

Mr J'oihcrick, a well known publisher has ollered his library containing six thousand rare colonial boooks to the Federal Council of Australasia as the nucleus of a Federal Libraty on condition that it appoint a 'librarian. The donor desires to see the books placed temporarily in the Imperial Institute.
