The Baby Farming Case.
[United Press Association.] Inveecakgill; June 2. The iuquest- on the body' of Eva Hornsby, the infant fouid buried in the garden near Dean's house, at Winton, was continued to-day. The evidence showed that Minnie Dean got die child and £0 10s from its grandmother between MUbiirn aud Cl&rendoii on the .h'di.of * May, that she loft the train on the oif.fdo and that the child was not seen afterwards alive. Letters from Mrs Dean written to Mrs Hornsby were also produced, and the I child's clothing found in Dean's house was identified by Detective McGrath, The woman admitted that shogot the child between Invercargill and Dunedin in the month of May, but said she was' aoting as agent for a person at Milton, to whom she handed it.
