[United Press Association .1 Wellington, This Day. The Knights of Labour propose the following -motion for consideration by the pistrrct Assembly, Svhich will meet in July —lil'hat Statp' £re insurance should be established; that tbe Mimioipal franchise should be extended to all adults of twelve montbi'M.ldence; that tbe duties on the
necessaries of life should be removed, and the deficiency met by increasing the land tax, or removing the exemptions on tho land tax ; that the Government be urged to open up moie coal mines by co-operative labour."
