Sheep and Cattle.
[United Tress Association.] London, April 22. The s'eamer Danffchire, from Port Chalmers, March 9, has arrived at Las Pahaas. She lost one sheep ou the passage, owing to the supply of loddor running short. Several head of c.itlc on board the Nairnsbira wasted during the trip homo, otherwise the shipment arrived in splendid condition, and in tiino for an excellent inarket. Forty of the cattle by the Celtio and Port Chalmcr3 sold alive at £20 to £2t 10s per head. The remainder were killed for the Smitbneld market. Some experts hold the opinion tint ho Nairnshire's cattle are too old and rough.
