[ Mr Hutchison defended I; th© Gbyernmenjt and the policy brought U- down last session, and asserted that critic;:^ism>hjad, never been freer than during the !;;pjist session. .He denied that there had any borrowing beyond three quarters J; of a- million.; Though there were some ";• matters i which lie had disapproved of, and ;6ri: these he voted against the Government, -?: fiewas a loyal Government supporter, and . he considered the present was the best Go- : : verhment for the people the colony hiad yet ' .' "" had. A vote of thanks and confidence was ..carried. A motion of no confidence in Mr - - Hutchison, and another of no confidence in " the Government failed to find seconders. "-j : ' December 11. ;.,' Mr- Arthur Morrison, M.H.R., addressed ;i his constituents to-night at Cavershani, • 'when there was a good attendance. Mr Morrison defended the policy of the Government in every respect, dealing largely with ;. the financial proposals, which he approved. t He received a unanimous vote of thanks .'r and, confidence.
