The Victorian team requiring 398 runs to avert a defeat began their innings this afternoon, and when the stumps were drawn for the day had lost six wickets for 160 runs. The scores were :— Stuckey 17, Layer 26, H. Trott 63, Graham 0, Harry 1, Mitchell 10, R. McLeod not out 30, C. McLeod not out 12, extra 1 ; total for 6 wickets, 160. ■
