The Aorere leaves Patea this afternoon for Welliugton. The Waverley left New Plymouth this afternoon for westport aud Nelson. She sails at 4 p m. on Thursday for Wang«nui and Wellington. The Kennedy is due at Greymouth this eveniug from Westport. The Murray leaves Wellington to-day for Nelson, and sails at 1 p.m. to-morrow for West Coast ports. The Charles Edward is detained at Hoki tika to day by the heavy sea on the bar. The Mawhera leaves Wellington at 12 o'clock to night, will arrive here about midday to-morrow, and sail at 2 p.m. for the West Coast. The Penguin leaves Wellington thia afternoon, will arrive here to-morrow morning, and sail at 5 p.m. on the return trip. The Omapere will arrive from Wellington and South on Wednesday morning, and sail at 5 a, in. for Westport The Grafton arrived from Picton and Wellington at 11*45 a.m. yesterday, and sailed at 12*30 p.m. for the West Coast. The Wainui arrived from the West Coast at 9 a.m. yesterday, and sailed at 3 p in. for Picton and Wellington. The Mahinapua with the San Francisco mail, arrived from Wellington at 2 o'clock this morning, and sailed at 215 p.m. for Taranaki and Manukau. The Lady Barkly sails for Golden Bay at 10 o'cloek tonight. The Lily makes a tvip to Motueka to« morrow, leaving here at 1 p m, The Waipara made a trial trip yesterday morning, but owing to the coal used being of poor quality she did not steam so fast as was expected, her speed being at the rate of seven knots an hour It is expected that when the engines get in proper working order that she will steam eight knots an hour. The finishing touches are being put to her, and she will probably sail for the West Coast to-night.
