Continuing his examination to-day, Mr Paul, maragar of tbe New Zealand Loan and Metoanti c Company, admitted garbling Sir J, Fergueson'B speech, but bbH his intentions in the matter were qnite honourable. He stated absolutely that ha wns ignoiant that tbe repoitof Mr D, Elder, the Australian manager of the Oompiny, referred to tbe Company's aocounts till it wbb < psned io June. Mr Justice Williams sad he was abooked at the statement, whiob appeared to him to be incredible, and he declared Mr Paul to be incorrigible. The Judge will deliver his ataUmonton Thursday,
