Should it be found necersary, Instruction will be given on one evening per weeh, in order to meet the requirements of pupils unable to attend by day. Horr Balling will bold two weekly classes for free instruction in Vocal and Orchestral Musio respectively. The members of these classes will be selected by him from those who show talent but who are unable to pay the teaching fees of the Institution. The OBJECTS of the SOHOOL will be to give sound instruction, at moderate feeß, in practical and theoretioal music, and to raise the present standard of musical attainment and performance. PERIODICAL EXAMINATIONS will be held, and Certificates of Progress and Proficiency given. The wholesome emulation of pupils, combined with systematic instruction in two subjects, cannot fail to produce beneficial results. RUDIMENTARY as well as ADVANCED INSTRUCTION will be given. This Prospeotus is issued for the purpose of ascertaining approximately tho number of pupils likely to attend ; and upon sufficient attendance being assured for tho starting of tho Sohool, suitable premises will bo fieoured by the Committee. The COMMITTEE of MANAGEMENT will be elected by the Subscribers to the Preliminary Expenses Fund.
