Charge Against N.S.W. Government
In the Lsgis'ativo Assembly Mr MuMilla* 1 , speaking on Me Ooltou's motion demanding him to retract his allegation of corruption and vote selling, denits there was anything to withdraw, nor was there anything to apolrgise for. He declared that the report in the papers was perfectly correot, and that the Public Works Department wr.s used by tho Government simply as a great voting machine' Mr Lynn ohalleoged Mr McMillan to prove his assertion, and the latfcor answered that he would do so if a Select Committee was appointed to investigate the matter. Eventually the whole affair fizzled out.
