The increase of pressure at the Bluff during the last 48 hours has amounted to one and live-tenths. Almo3t a similar increase was registered at Hokitika between the 3rd and 4th February last, and these two are the most remarkable continuous increases of pressure observed since Feb* ruary, 1391.
