Auckland, December 5. At the Supreme Court a Maori named Meta was sentenced to eight years : Wm. Rogers, for failing to obey a probation order, to six months ; Henry Will, for false pretence?, to six months. Dunedin, December hi The Supreme Court was engaged all day in hearing the charge of perjury against Henry Ginsberg, of Naseby. The accused waß Bued in an affiliation case, and going into the box gave evidence so contradictory to tbat of the girl's witnesses, tbat the present proceedings were brought. The case was not concluded when the Court rose.
