Auckland, October 21. I Tho Auckland Bowling Club's howling season was opened to-day with great eclat this afternoon, the members of the New- ! market atid Ponsonby Clubs being also present. In the match between teama | chosen by the President (Mr J. Hardie) and the Vice-President (Mr D. Ross) the latter won, the Ecores being respectively 93 ad 125. Among the players were Mr Arch.
