The Mahinapua left Onehunga at 1 '30 p.m. on Thursday, crossed theManukau bar at 8 p.m., and arrived at Taranaki at 5*50 a.m. on Friday; sailed at 10 a.m., but owing to a S.E gale had to anchov under the lee of Cape Egmont for five hours, and did not reach Wellington until 10 % 30a.rn. on Saturday ; left at 5 p.m. yesterday, and arrived here ac 4-30 this morning. Experienced strong southerly winds \vita a high sea to Taranaki, thence to Wellington encountered a S.E. gale with a heavy sea, and from there to arrival had fresh N.W. winds with a moderate sea. She sails at 5 p.m. for Taranaki and Manukau.
