Earthquakes.

Chbistchurch, This Day. Reports from the country districts state that earthquake shocks have been experienced all round. At Akaroa they are said to have been tbe heaviest felt for some time. The direction appeared to be from Sjuth to North. A smart shock of earthquake was experienced about 730 this morning, followed by auother less severe five minutes after. Both shocks were preceded by a loud rumbling noise. No damage is reported.
