Obituary. Mi:\y Plymouth, This Day. Mr Thomas King, chairman of the Harbour Board, died at 4 o'clock this morning, aged 73 years. He was one of the first settlers having arrived here in the William Bryant in 18-11. tie was elected a member of the House of Representatives in lsri-t and 18(50, and hold the position of Treasurer to the Provincial Government. He was manager of the Bank of New Zealand here for 16 years, and since his retirement has taken an active part in matters connected with the harbour. He le.ives a widow, three sons, and a daughter. Dr Truby King, of Seaclifle Lunatic Asylum, Mr Newton King, auctioneer here Mr Henry King and Mrs Marchant of Timaru are his children Deceased had been very infirm for some time.
