The outrage perpetrated on the barrister who prosecuted the Anatohista waa carded out .in suoh a manner that the dynamite was placed on the landing, and when exploded it destroyed the stairs and shut out tho retreat of the oooupanta. Every effort waß made from the outside to rescue tho inmates, and ultimately all were got out alive by means of a fire esoape with one exoepiion. The conouaeion smashed the windows in the vioiniiy.
