Consolation Handicap. — £7 ; once round the course, for all beaten horses, Nomination 2s, acceptance ss. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. Nominations close for Hurdle Race, Brightwater Cup, and Saddle Trot at 8 p.m. on Saturday October 10th, and handicaps declared at 8 p.m. on October 17th. Acceptances not later than Saturday, October 24th, ivt 8 p.m. ip.ni. , 2. Nominations close for Stewards Handicap and Harness Trot on Saturday October 17th, 8 p.m. 3. All nominations, entries, and acceptances will olose at the Brightwater Hotel at 8 p.m. on the advertised dates, and must be addressed to the Secretary with the requisite fees enclosed, also name and age of horse, name of owner, colours of rider, and in handicap all performances of horse. 4. All protests must be accompanied by a deposit of £2, which shall be forfeited if protest be considered frivolous. 5. The above stakes will be subjeoted to a reduction of five per cent. G. Race3 will be run under the Rules of Racing, 7. No entry will be received except on the following conditions, That all disputes, claims and objections arising out of the races Bhall be settled by the stewards or whom they appoint, their decision on all points connected with the carrying out of this programme to bo final. 8. Second monies to be paid oub of stakes. 9. The trotting events will be run under the mles of the N, Z, Trotting Association, and special attention is called to Rule 54, fixing minimum weights for both riders and drivers, W, H, NIEMANN, Hon, Seo, 8.R.0.
