Railway Insurance Bill.
Christohurch, This Day. A largely attended meeting of railway servants favourable to an insurance scheme was held last eveuing for the purpose of considering the lusurance Bill in circulation, and suggesting amendments for its improvement. Numerous letters from country stations, and messages from Timaru and Dunedin were received favourable to tho Bill. A resolution was passedjjalmoßt unanimously that the meeting believed the insurance soheme to be dessrable, and that it should proceed to oxamine the Bill clause by olauss, and make suggestions for its improvement so as to make it more suitable to the needs of the service, and forward them to the Commissioners, A Committee was formed to report to a future meeting,
