September 2, steamer Lady Barkly, 40, Walker,- for Motueka. — steamer Grafton. 242, Nordstrum, for Wellington. Pas.engera : Messrs Ryder and Driecoil. — steamer Mawhera, 340, Manning, for West Coast. Passengers : Mrs Seddon and infant, Messrs Francini (2), Dongbty, and Ganaris-Akarman Company.

The Waverley arrived* at Westport this morning from Neleon, and proceeds to Greymonth to-night if tbe present heavy easterly weather moderates. The Kennedy and Aorere are still detained at Hokitika by bad weather. The Morrsy is detained at Foxton to-day by bad Veather. The Oharles Edward was detained at Wellington last night by a N.W. gale. She left at 4 a.m. to-day, and should arrive this evening. She sails for Weßt Coßßt ports at 11 a.m. on Sanday. Tbe Rotorua arrived from Wellington and South at 9 o'olock this morning, and sails at 8 o'clock to-night for Pioton, Wellington,, and Lyttelton. The Grafton leaves Wellington at noon to morrow, will arrive here on Saturday morning, and sail by the same tide at 10 a.m. for the West Ooast. The Mawhera sailed for the West Coast at j 6 o'olook last night. She returns here on ! Saturday, and sails at 9 pm. for Wellington directThe Mahicapna leaves Mannkan to day, and will arrive bere on Monday morning, She sails at 8 p.m. for Taranaki and Manukau. The Lady Barkly makes a trip to Motueka to-morrow, leaving here at 7 a.m. The Norwegian baique Habil, Oaptain Jenßen, is due here this month from New York via Freemantle.
