WESLEYAN CHURCH ANNUAL DISTRICT MEETING.

The session of the Financial Meeting commenced at 10 o'olock this morning. In addition to the ministers already reported Messrs J. Boon, A. J. Litchfield, P. Quayle' E. Parker, A. Sheat, and T. Holdaway were present. The meeting was commenced by the chairman announcing the hymn " Ye servants of God, your Master proclaim," the seoretary read Romans 12 th and the Rev J Crump and Mr Litchfield engaged in prayer.' Church Property was the first subject passed under review. Tho Rev. F. W. Isitt reported the completion of the building of a new ohuroh at Nelson. The liabilities of this trust were exhaustively examined and suitable resolutions passed in referenoe thereto. The gift of an aore of land at Hope by Mr J. H. Young was reported. Large improvements of the ohuroh proporties were reported from Blenheim, involving an ex» penditure of £459, the greater portion of whioh has been raised ; and a similar report was received from Greymouth. Tbe deeds of the various properties were reported as being in the bands of ths proper custodian, Dissatisfaction was freely expressed at the non-msuranoe of some of the properties, and the minis'ors in oharge were instructed to see this remedied immediately.
