This very useful little publication has onoe more made its appearance, and is as full of information as ever. The tariff is the most complete published in the colony, and will be found invaluable to merchants and others | engaged in trade. There is scarcely a house | in whioh it will not be found a convenience to be able to refer to the law items, whioh deal | with the registration of births, marriages and deaths, and of title deeds, vaccination, ton" I anoy and rates, fees payable at the Courts and under the Immigration Aot, licensing, probate and administration, making a will, &0,, &o. An extraot from the Sheep Act and Cattle Trespass Act may also be of use to farmers" while several pages are devoted to stamp duties, a matter in- whioh all are more or Jess concerned. The fullest information will also be found with respeot to poßtal oharges and regulations, arrival and departure of mails, &o. A very excellent and carefully prepared garden calendar forms not. the least ÜBelul of the articles in this comprehensive little book, of the numerous contents of whioh it is impossible to givo a fair idea in suoh a notioe as this. We will just briefly mention a few of the more important in addition to those already noticed :— Directory (colonial and Nelson), farming notes, itinerary, ready reokoner, signals at various ports, statistics relative to imports and exports, shipping <feo., useful tables, direotions for restoring the apparently drowned, and in faot information on almost every subjeot concerned with the ordinary every day life.
