She run 3 an excursion trip to Takaka on Thursday, and 3ails at "8 p.m. on Friday for West Coast ports. The Murray sails for Wellington at 6 p.m. to-day. She will arrive here on Wednesday morning, and returns to Wellington direct ad 7 p.m, on Thursday. The Kennedy sails for Fozton at 7 p.m. to. day, and leaves there to-morrow morning foe Nelson with excursionists. She proceeds to Foxton and Wellington at 11 p.m. on Wednesday. The Aorere is expected to leave Westport to-morrow for Bangitikei and Wellington. ■ The Mahinapaa arrived at the outer anohorage from Manukau at 2 p.m. yesterday, oame into harbor at 530 p.m., and sailed at 9*15 a.m. to-day for Westport, The Mawhera arrived from Oreymouth at 6 p.m. on Saturday, and sailed an hour later for Wellington. She leaves there at 5 p.m. to-day for Pioton and Nelson, will arrive here to-morrow morning, and sail by the same tide at 10 a.m. for Westport and Qreymontb. The Brunner arrived from Westport at 6*30 this morning, and hailed by the same tide at 8 am. for Pioton, Wellington, and South. The Wan&ka leaves Wellington at 5 p.m. to-morrow for Pioton, and Nelson, will arrive here on Wednesday morning, and sail by the same tide at 11 a.m. for Taranaki and Mannkau. The Waitapu makes a trip to Motueka to-morrow, leaving here at 7 a.m. The many friends in Nelson of Captain Fenn will regret to learn that he died at bis home at Port Chalmers on Friday. The deceased, who was an ex-lieutenant of the' Boyal Navy, was for some years chief officer of the Botorua, and wob afterwards promoted to the command of the Beautiful Star. Since then he has been captain of the Fijian, Wai" hora, and Pukaki, but failing health compelled him to resign oommand of the latter steamer abont three months ago.
