"Wellington, November 1. The Customs returns for October were £116,5-48 (co which something less than £1000 will have to he added for Westport) again at £146,310 for September, and £124,553 for Vjotober last) yeur. The principal ports show: —Auckland, £24,387; Wellington, £19,201 ; Cnrißtohuiob, £22,914; Dnnedio, £27,702. Tho beer duly showed £4,986 without the r Weetporc return, againet £4,536 fur October last year, and £4,066 for September laat. Auckland commuted £1,059; Wellingtou, £520; CDiiatoharob, £1,011, aad Dunedin, £1,250.
