WEI/LINaTON, April i. The rabbit fence in. South Canterbury is giving good results, and the Minister of Lands, who was at first opposed to it, ia now • convinced that tho expenditure is wise. Borne six men are permanently employed along the line of fence looking af tor it and killing such rabbits as dribble over the .ranges and reach the barrier. It will be completed asifar as the "Waitaki this winter.
