DAIRY FACTORY.
A public meeting was held afc the ecboolioom, Riwaka, on the 29th ultimo to receive the report of the Committee wbich had been Appointed to colleoi information re the advisability or otherwise of establishing a factory in Riwaka. Mr G. Macmahon, who was voted to the chair, read thereport, which was unfavorable to the erection of a faotory, and ndvis< d the support of Mr Thorp's faotory fit; Motutka, The Chairman then called on Mr Thorp to give Bom* idea of the tetma and conditions hn might be inclined to offer. A vote of thanks to the Committee concluded the meeting.
