Preston succeeded him, but after making a single was also bowled by Wilding. Brown followed, but was soon given out 1.b.w., b Wilding. 65—8—0. Lohmann was caught by Garrard off Wilding without scoring Pougher now joined Read, made 8, and then fell another victim to Wilding. He wag succeeded by Charleston who was clean bowled by Wilding without scoring. The innings closed for 75. Bead carried out his bit hiring made 43 by steady, careful play. Wilding got 8 wickets for 31 runs.
