Mr Grladp'one, speaking ou the Irish question at, the Nottingham Liberal Conference, deolined to conform to the appeal made by Mr Chamberluin nt Belfast; for a clear ex position of bin (Mr Gladstone's^ plaos for Ulster, or to commit himself to an Irish Bill, bub declared that, he would not impede the settlement of the question by raising objections to matters of detail.
