Sep^fmber 19. The weather is still favorable for training and a largo number of hon-estook advantago of u fine morning to appear on the course. There he veiy prospect of a bright day tomorrow when the rac* for tho Mitropoli an Stakes takes place. Enfilade went two miles at a moderate pace. Phaon and Felon have gieatly iraptoved in tbeir going. Spade Guinea and P.sha did a mile and a half in splendid style, "be 1-st mile b?ing done in Imin 50secs. The former finished strongly, and altogether tho trial was the best yet seen on the tan. Dunlop and Acolyte did a gallop over the course, both going strongly and finishing well. The latter moved rather Btifily after his spin, Morok also did a great trial. He was sent two miles, the last 1 of which he covered in 1 minute 48 seconds. Chester and Kitawa did a serviceable gallop, [ and Cardigan went twice round splendidly. . Frisco, who has improved in his going, did a mile in very good style. Matador was only out for moderate service. Jewel is in first rate condition, and did an excellent ' performance this morning. Jewel and ' Pasha are the best outsiders. Cairo has also been doing some good work lately.
