This Day. llavklook. Waimea-Picton. Electorate — Messrs Seymour, Mills, and Harkness were nominated. The show of hands was in favor of Mills. A poll was demanded. Port Ohalmkrs. Port Chalmers nominations — Messrs Jas. Mills, proposed by Dr Drysdale and seconded by David Fergusson ; Jas. Green, proposed by W. A. Mosley and seconded by A. Wust. The show of hands was very largely in favor of Mills. Westport. Mr o 'Conor was proposed by Mr Nahr, and seconded by Mr Hay. Mr MHnro was proposed by Mr A. A. Young, and seconded by Mr W. Wilson. O'Conor's supporters here rolled up well, and the show of hands was in his favor, being 85 against 40 for j Munro. The candidates were not present. Wellington. Te Aro nomination: Messrs Menteath and F. H. Fraser. The show of hands was— Menteath 95, Fraser 62. A poll was demanded. Dr A. T. Newman and Mr McLean were nominated for Thcrndon to-day. The show show of hands was in favor of Newman. A poll was demanded. Geraldine. The following wore nominated for Rangitata: Messrs W. Calmer, S. Buxton, and the Hon. W. Rolleston. Invercakgill. For MAtaura, Messrs G. F. Richardson ond J. Mackintosh were nominated, and for Hokonui Messrs Cowan and A. Baldey. DUNEDIN. At Bruce, Messrs Reid and Andn'son were nominated. The show of hands was in favor of Mr Reid. Auckland. The following nominations took place today: — City North: Show of hands, Vaile 59, Thompson 49, Farnall 5. Waitemata : Monk 33, Reader Wood 32. Parnell : Seymour George G4, Moss 18. Eden : Mitohelson and Connell were nominated, and the show of hands was in favor of Mitchelson, GISUORNE. The nominations for the East Coast were. Messrs McDonald, Gannon, and Graham. HOKITIKA. Messrs Bevan and Joseph Grimmond were nominated. The show of hands was in favor of Bevan. Tauranga. R. J. Gill, Captain Kcrr, and William Kelly were nominated. The show of hands was in favor of Gill, TUAPEKA. Messrs Brown and Bennct were nominated. Waitotaua. Messrs John Brycc, Ggo. Hutchinson, and John Morgan were nominated for the Waitotara seat. The show of hands was — Bryce, 11 ; Hutehiuson, 56 ; Morgan, 5. A poll was demanded by Mr Bryce. Wallace. H. Hirst, S. Hodgkinson, F. Daniel, and J. Mclntyre. The show of hands waa in favor of Eodgkinson. Waikaia. F. S. Canning, H. S. Valentine, and Capt. McKenzje wero nominated. WOODVILLE.
Messrs W. C. Smith, 11. Baker, and W. M'Carole were nominated. The show of handß was favorable to Mr Baker by a large majority. The proceedings were orderly.
