We quote : — E.st and Mid-Kent finest Goldings, 1886 £3 5s to £6 15s per cwt ; ditto ordinary, £1 10s to £3 15s; Weald of Kent, £1 15s to £3 5s Sussex, £1 15s to £2 10s; American " States," noue; Galifornian, none; Bavaiian, £2 5s (o £4; New Z.aland, none, Ta.mnniao, none; Victorian, none.

New Zealand Hemp.— Manila on the spot is unaltered, but to arrive has advanced to £27 10s per (on c.i.f , an improvement of 80s per ton on the fortnight, and closes very firm. Sisal is inaotive with sellers at £29 10a to £30 per ton ex store Liverpool and values bave a further downward tendency. The market for New Zealand descriptions quiet, except for ordinary and medium kinds, for which there is a fair demand at easier rates. We quote : — Superior soft, bright hemp, £26 10b to £27 per ton ; Good quality and well cleaned, £25 10s to £26 : Medium, fair to good, £24 10s to £25 ; Commoncourse and s'.rawy, nominally £23,
