Nuws has been received that the members of the Anglo-Kussian Commission appointed to Kettle the demarcation of the northern frontier of Afghanistan have crossed the river Hclmund'into that country, and wore lnet by a large body of Afghans, who aro now acting as an escort. Vienna, October 28. The Austro -Hungarian Delegations opened to-day. The Emperor Francis Joseph, in his speech on the occasion, said there was every reason to expect a long period of European peace.
