Thames, Monday. A Pad accident occurred in the harbor on Saturday afternoon. The brijrantine Sea Bird arrived from Auckland. Mr Bayldon. Harbor Master, pub off for the purpose of piloting her up the river. Among the crew was a young man namel Henry Harris, engineer of the dredge. Upon reaching the vessel a rope was thrown from on board, to which Harris and another man held. The ship was travelling at fhe rate of three knots.
