Nelson Evening Mails. SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2, 1882.
The total railway receipts in the colony for the four weeks ending- October 14 were £00,535 against £58,705 for the corresponding period of last year. The expenditure, however, was £47,317 and £38,271 for the respective periods, phowing an increase of over £9000. The receipts and expenditure on the Nelson line for the four weeks of this year were £71!) arid £541 respectively. For the corresponding period of last year they were £574 and £474, the increase of receipts being £145 and of expenditure £(57. The following are the details of receipts on the Nelson line for the corresponding periods •. —
