A portion of the railway has been carried away by flood near Whangaroa, completely blocking the line to-day. „_ Wangajjui, Tuesday. W. Cr. Watt, storekeeper at Marlon, has filed a declaration of insolvency. Assets, £7,420 ; liabilities, £19,000. The largest creditors are in Wellington and Wanganui.
