The Lady Barkly left on her usual trip to Golden Bay this afternoon. 1 The Luna and Grafton are both reported at Greymouth. The Wallace left for Wanganui this afternoon at 5 o'clock. The Charles Edward arrived at Hokitika this morning from Westporfc. The Lyttelton left Blenheim for Wellington at 1 p.m.. to-day. The Murray left Greymouth this morning for Westport and Nelson. The Kennedy arrived at Wellington at 4 o'clock this morning, and leaves on her return trip this evening. The schooner lUclmrd and Mary is expected here in the course of a day or two from Oaniaru with a cargo of bre.adsluft's. We understand that the steamer Wellington will make an excursion trip from, here to Wellington and back on the occasion of Cooper.<& Bailey's circus visiting the Empire City. The Taiaroa leaves Onehunga to-morrow, will arrive on Thursday night, and sail for Wellington and South by the same title, conYeyirig' 7 passengers to the Arawata, -which leaves Wellington with the outward Suez mail at noon on Friday. .. The Awaroa was towed to sea by the Lady Barkiy this .morniug. She has been hammering against the sea breeze nearly all day, and at the time of our going to press had secured a fair offing The Awaroa has on "board a full cargo for Wanganui. The Union Company's . s.s. Wellington, Captain M'Gee, came into harbor this morning at 7.40. She left Wellington at 245 p.m. yesterday, and reached Picton at 7.40 p.m.: sailed at 9.30 p.m., and arrived here as above. Experienced strong N.W. wiuds with heavy Bea and rain throughout the passage. Sighted a vessellying in Ship Cove, but on account of the darkness of the night was unable to make her out. The Wellington returned to Picton and Wellington shortly after nine, and will probably reach the latter port late this evening. She leaves on the return trip to-morrow, arriving here on Thursday. Messrs M'Meckan, Biackwood & Co.'s s.s. Tararua, Captain Sinclair, arrived in harbor this morning at eight o'clock. She left Williainstown at 6 p m. on the 20th ultimo, and passed Swan Island at 3.15 p.m. on the following day; from thence experienced fresh head -winds, which lasted until arrival at Hobarton at 1.20 p m. on the 22nd; sailed at 1 p.m. on the 23rd, and passed Cape Pillar at 4.30 p.m.; experienced fine weather for the first 24 hours, after which a dense fog prevailed, which continued until passing the Solanders at 12.50 a.m. on the 27th, -when the •weather cleared, and the Tararua arrived at the Bluff at 6 a.m. same day; sailed at 5.30 p.m. same day, and reached Port Chalmers at 8 a.m. on the 28th; left at 1.30 p.m. same day, and arrived at Lyttelton at 7 a.m. on the 29th; sailed on the evening of the same day, and arrived at Wellington at 1 p.m. on Sunday; left at 5.30 p.m. yesterday, came round the Island, and reached here as above. Experienced strong. N.W. winds with heavy sea during the night. The Tararua sailed for Melbourne via West Coast ports at 9.C0 a.m.
