Aktilleky Pkactice.— The public are warned that there will be Armstrong gun practice to-morrow afternoon on the- mudflats The firing will be in the direction of the old hulk. Fire. — A large stack of barley, the property of Mr Charles Best of Appleby, was destroyed by fire last night. No cause whatever can be assigned, and an iv quest will be held.
