12.15 p.m. News received from Auckland to 28th instant. Mr. Gillies has been elected Superintendent by a majority of 59. * Mr. Creighton has resigned the Provincial Secretaryship. Messrs. Hurst, Phillips, and Ellis have been returned to the Council. The shareholders of the All Nations claim were to hold a meeting on Monday. A dividend of 4s. has been declared. Gold has been discovered at Tauranga, near Te Papa. The Hauhaus are reported to be in force at Kukaruku, near TauraDga. H.M. s. Rosario is under orders to sail for Wellington. Matters at the Thames are much depressed, aud it is generally believed that a crisis is impending. ', Beef 40s to 42s per lOOlbs. Fatsheep 12s to 19s each. Flour £15 to £16 per ton. ...*.'•'
