Organ Concert.— We understand that there is likely to be a large attendance at the Provincial Hall to-night, nearly 200 tickets having already been taken, but it is only fair to say that the fact of so large a number having been disposed of is due to the liberality of the performeis, who, not content with giving their services, have also purchased tickets at the 6ame rate as that charged to the audience. 'We are requestod to state ; that tickets will be procurable at the doors this evening.
I Prospecting Parties. — The whole of the No. 1 party and one of the No. 2 party having returned to town, a meeting of the Committee will be held at Mr. Nehse's this evening, at 7 o'clock. Assault. — At the Resident Magistrate's Court this morning, William Taylor, who had been remanded on a charge of unlawfully assaulting and beating George Witney, was again brought up. Mr. H. Adams, who appeared for the prosecutor, said that he considered the ends of justice would be met by the infliction of a nominal fine. Prisoner was therefore fined one shilling and costs. The following is the result of the election of two members for the Grey District in the Nelsou Provincial Council, which took place on Friday last.
