American Circus. — This company gave another performance last night in their tent, which is erected in Mr Fisher's paddock, in Bridge-street. There was a very full attendance, and a general feeliug of satisfaction was expressed with the entertainment Thb Wangapeka. — The Warden, Mr. Broad, returned this morning from the Wangapeka and, we understand, reports favorably of the appearance of the surrounding country which he says has every appearar.ce of a gold bearing district. From the reef itself he brings a small specimen in which gold is visible, and he also has a few small pieces of exceedingly rich auriferous quartz which were picked up in the creek, but do not appear to be waterworn, and are therefore supposed to have come originally from the newly discovered reef or others in the immediate neighborhood. We are informed that the miners on the ground have consented to the survey being proceeded with.
