TN pursuance of the provisions of an Act of the JL General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled, '•The Regulation of Elections Act, 1858," and also of "The Provincial Elections Act, 1858," I, Thomas Brthtcteb, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Waitnea South do hereby give notice, that, by virtue of a Writ bearing date the 22nd day of September, 1869, issued under the hand of his Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, an ELECTION will be held for the RETURN of TWO qualified persons to serve as MEMBERS of the PROVINCIAL COUNCIL for the said Electoral District ; and that the NOMINATION of Candidates will take place at the School-room Spring Grove on FRIDAY the 12th day of November, 1809, at Noon ; and that the POLL (if necessary) will be taken on MONDAY, the 22nd day of November next.
