Retention Of the 18th Regiment.-

By a Wellington telegram which appears in this morning's Examiner, we find that General Chute has acceded to the request of the Government relative to the detention of lhe 18th Royal Irish, and has cancelled the orders previously issued for concentrating them at Auckland.
