CORRESPONDENCE.
To the Editor o. the Nelson Evening Mail. Sir, will you permit me to caution the public against a person who has been exhibiting a certain petition accompanied by a subscription list for a supposed charity wherein my name is mentioned, and to state first, that I am in utter ignorance of the matter, second, that so far as I am informed the whole thing is an imposition. I am &c, J. Guthrie Carr.
