The following return of the Revenue of the Port of Nelson shows most satisfactorily that 'notwithstanding the general commercial depression that has existed throughout the colonies, Nelson has managed to hold her own. The ' Customs duties are. ; some £3000 less than the previous year, but then it must be borne in mind that Westport was not declared a
