Letters. — Any prepaid letter, news* paper, book or other packet for any place in New Zealand, United Kingdom, British Coionies, and many foreign countries, may be registered at any PosioLhce, during ollice hours, on payment in stamps affixed to the letters, &c, of the required fee; and on presentation at the Postolh'oe window at least one huur prior to the time for closing the mail by which it is to be forwarded. Money Orders. — These are issued at Nelson and Collingwood on any Money Order Office in H^r Zealand, Auscralia, Tasmania, or Great Britain and Ireland. Commission on Orders payable at following places: — New Zealand, not exceeding 5/ — 6d ... 10/— Is Australia „ 5/ — is ... 10/ — 2s Great Jiritain and Ireland, not exceeding — •2.1 — is ... 5/— 2s6d ... ~i — 3s kd ... 10/— ss The issue of Orders to any one applicant for the same payee in one day shall not exceed 25/ on Great Britain, mid 40/ on the Australian colonies and Tasmania.
Town De'ivery of Letters. — Letter carriers deliver twice a day, leaving the Chief Postolßce at 9 a.m. and 230 p.m.
