The Gothenburgh, left Hobson's Bay -on -the 57th ult., at 4 a.m., passing the Heads at 7 a.m. ; arrived «t the Bluff at daylight on the 2ud inst. ; left at 4 p.m. same day, arriving iu Port Chalmers on the 3rd, at 4 a.m..; left again at 4 p.m. on the 4th, arriving in Lyttelton next morning at 10 a.m., sailed for Wellington same day at 7.30, arriving at 1 p.m. ou the 6th, discharged cargo aud sailed •at midnight ' on 7-thj encountered strong head winds during passage and arrived at Nelson at 2 p.m. yesterday, During the GothenbuYgh's stay in Melbourne she was put on the slip, •where she had a thorough overhaul, machinery taken to pieces, aud "bottom cleaned aud newly -painted. She briugs the New Zealand portion of the Suez mails. The Stormbird, on leaving the wharf at r :tWelliugton on Friday afternoon, met with .an accident which delayed her for some •. time. A piece of rope became entangled ■wiili the fans of her screw, and the services of a diver had to be called into requisition to get it detached.
