THE following Clauses from the above Act are published for general information: — ' Clause 3. The occupier for the time being of any land upon which any Furza or Gorse Hedge shall be growing at the time of the passing of this Act, adjoining any ro id or street ia the City of Nelson, or in case there shall be uo occupier, then the owner of such land shall oni.-e at least between the Ist day of January and the SOth day of June, and once at least between the Ist day of July and the 31st day of December in each year, cause every such hedge to be properly trimmed. 'Clause 4. And in case any such occupier or owner, as the case may be, shall refuse or neglect to cause such hedge to be trimmed as aforesaid, such occupier or owner, as the case may be, shall for every such offence forfeit and pay any sum not exceeding Five Pounds.'
